Update 09.07.2024 Still not open. Building company went into administration, the local council the is the preferred creditor.

Place ain’t open - how you get reviews is beyond me 😳 construction workers on site - I guess doing there best - but deffo not open
Now Jan 2024 - no workers on site and guess what still not open - becoming another classic unfinished white elephant

Sucks to know our council sunk 15M into this development for it to go into administration. And the council wonder why they’re on the verge of bankruptcy.
Living in the area means we have to deal with a dodgy building site, the temporary stairs on the embankment are always slippery and the council don’t maintain the footpath when it’s icy. I’ve already twisted my ankle on the metal stairs. Not to mention if you go the other way the path is in tatters.
The Hilton was supposed to bring tourism and more money into Peterborough, now it’s another development stuck in limbo. How much more tax payer money will the council sink into this?
Recently there have been a few people on site putting up more permanent fencing to stop people getting in. I assume this is fairly permanent as they’re cementing the fences in. Is this to stop scrappers? Will the building eventually start again?

Very welcoming staff & really nice food. The swimming pool was a welcoming relief from a long journey. Will be staying again in the future.
